Discussing Wages at Work (NLRA)

Equal Pay Act (EPA)

Represented former retail district manager regarding unequal pay based on gender. Case settled pre-trial after summary judgment was denied.

Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA)

Family First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA)

Represented former director in FFCRA case. Successfully negotiated significant increase in severance pay and benefits following a demand letter.

Represented former employee in FFCRA wrongful termination case. Successfully negotiated favorable settlement following demand letter.

FLSA Overtime and Minimum Wage

Represented 13 current and former office employees in an FLSA collective action against trucking company in federal court to recover unpaid overtime. The class recovered a total of $99,000, including full back pay and liquidated damages.

Represented former employee in FLSA minimum wage matter. Case was resolved pre-litigation for full payment of wages plus liquidated damages and attorney’s fees.
